Leicester Karate Club Historical Exhibition
LEICESTER KARATE CLUB 60th ANNIVERSARY SATURDAY 13TH JUNE 10.30am to 4pm Secular Hall 75 Humberstone Gate LE1 1WB The Karate Club in the oldest in the UK (est 1966) The exhibition offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore the rich legacy of karate in the community. Featuring memorabilia, photographs, and artefacts spanning six decades, the exhibition highlights the evolution of karate from its early days to its present status. Displays include: story boards, tournament trophies, and personal stories from past and present members, illustrating the dedication and discipline that define the club. As well as the exhibition on the ground floor, Karate classes will be running as usual in the basement of the building ( as they have done for the last 60 years!). Free of charge to attend.
